GoPro with harrys laptimer and ext mic

I just picked up a new gopro hero5 session. I want to sync an external mic from my rear bumper to my harry's laptimer on my phone with the gopro on the front bumper. I want to be able to do this by running the mic to the phone rather than the gopro. Has anyone been able to do this? Is this possible?

Hi,

This is not possible. LapTimer always records audio as part of the video (so the .mp4 has both a video and an audio track). You can certainly record audio using the internal cam and edit the audio track into the Session 5 file, but this is pretty complicated?
