Differences between 58.0 and later software

Hi all

My M4 (non CP) is a March 16 build and is running the 58.0 software. I've read through all of the forums and the M3 cutters forum to try and find out if there are any major differences between my software build and the more recent updates. It seems to be that some people think there are major changes, other that there is very little difference.

I'm interested in potentially upgrading the software for any potential handling benefits and changes to damper, diff and traction settings.

I'm looking for advice on whether it's really worth updating beyond 58.0. If anyone has experience of going from 58.0 to the latest software and the changes then I would really like to hear their thoughts....

Thanks

There is improvement in drive as well as updates to NGHB. The only loss is memory gong for saving seat setting.

It's not lost forever, see my post with solution!

OP, having been updated few times from 55.3 to 59.3 for free, I honestly think it's not worth if you have to pay for it.

Now Mapped:

Interesting. MEMORY_POPUP is nicht_aktiv on my F15 (F025-16-07-501), but aktiv on '17 M4 (F020-16-07-506) & '17 F15 (F025-16-11-501). Guess they brought back.

I thought there were improvements in MDM as well as other systems. Definitely for 55.3 to 58 or 59; not sure about 58 to 3.60.2. I guess it would depend on what dealership would charge.
