Anyone use the wireless charging pad in the 2017s?

I find that it charges my Samsung S7E way too slow. The phone also gets really hot which is strange. Anyone with a similar experience? I don't think its fast charging capable which makes it entirely useless IMO.

Sucks to hear that but I guess it could be nice in some instances where a slow charge is all that's needed.

That's the problem. When left on the pad for long drives it feels like it is overheating the phone. Strange...

Yeah it's the same in my 2017 M4, it works, but it's not fast wireless charging like the Samsung Wireless charger, just normal wireless charging and the phone gets super hot after leaving it on charge for a while

My wireless charging does not seem to be working at all the blue light comes on for about 3 seconds then shuts off.
Is the blue light supposed to stay on while its charging??

Yeah, it should stay lit blue while it is charging. The phone has to be in the right orientation tho just like the image (looks like a pic of an Android or Samsung phone).

I have used it once and never used it again. Like you stated, its really slow and my phone gets really hot. Wish I could have more console space instead of the charger haha

At least you guys can use it. My phone doesn't even fit in there. Any phone larger than 5.6" doesn't even fit.

My note will not fit unless I take the phone out of the case

My S7E doesn't fit unless I take it out of the case as well. Kind of a turn off and hence another reason not to use it.
