Did the shipping company mess my door up or did it break as a coincidence

10' e92 m3

Shipped car cross country
Driver door won't open from the outside
I can open it from the inside
The door handle doesn't look damaged...

Anyone got any clues?
I was going to open the door up myself with this DIY:

Not sure how you would prove it if they did. Could very well be a coincidence.

Think it could be the door actuators like in the DIY that I posted?
Anyone have a similar problem?
Want to try to DIY this before I pay my local shop $175 an hour to diagnose lol

If it's anything like my x5, there's a pot metal handle that can snap. It's fairly easy to replace.
