Whine from the heater?

Anyone have any noise issues with the heat on? I'm getting sort of a high pitched whine when the car is blowing heat. Turn the heat down and it disappears.

I get a noticeable "rustling" sound from the front vents when the heat is active. Last for a brief period of time. Sounds like a small piece of paper is trapped and blowing around in an interior chamber. Not sure if it is the same sound.

Same thing on mine ...

When I start the vehicle there is an obvious sound from the vents for about 5-7 seconds then it stops. ???????????

I get the same thing. It's been like that since day 1.

Mine is less a rustling, more a constant low volume whine. Almost like electrical noise.

I have the same noise on my wife's 35i and it annoys the crap out of me. For me, it's the hvac fan regardless of heat or a/c. My fan is noisy (almost like a loose belt whine--very slight noise within the interior of the car) but when the a/c or heat is on auto/low-moderate fan speed and you are stopped at a light or in bumper-to-bumper traffic for example it is very noticeable. The noise only stops when I turn off the hvac manually.

My '14 F15 makes the same odd noises with the AC (we rarely use heat in SoCal so I can't comment on any heat noises). Its like a low rumbling sound that eventually goes away.

Yes, all the time and having it checked out at my 50K.

Going to the dealer tomorrow will let you know....

I got blower and serpentine Belt Tensioner (11287549873) replaced the problem still present.

I think it is refrigerant problem...
