I-Drive display is blank

Good afternoon fellow F8X owners,

I dropped off my M4 in early August to ship to South Korea. After waiting three months the car finally arrived two weeks ago. When I picked her up everything was as perfect as when I dropped the car off except my I-drive display is blank. When I put the car in reverse the sensors still beep; however the display is completely blank. I'm pretty sure the battery was disconnected during shipment and my guess is maybe it's a blown fuse. I tried searching the internet, yet I can't find any F8X models that have experienced this problem. I have seen write-ups of other models that have experienced this. I'm hoping to find a resolution before taking it to a dealer because that will be a challenge over here (finding a dealer and then the language barrier).

Any suggestions or has anyone had this problem and was able to correct it?

Surely I can't be the only person who has this problem.

I had that happen. Lock the car for more than 15 minutes and it should reset. It worked for me.
I'm taking it to the dealer for a firmware update later this month.

Try to disconnect the battery again, that might help or not but wont cost you anything. Just wait a minute . It will reset/restart all devices. Also a temperature changes and humidity can play so wait some time to see if things change.
