Phone address book no longer available in navigation

Hello

I am not sure what happened exactly whether it is because of an update of the nav software or an update of iOS or whatever.

A couple of months ago I remember that I could go to the navigation and select address book and it would show me the car's address book and the first item was the possibility to show the phone's address book. Well I no longer have this option to see my phone's contacts through the navigation menu. However when I go the phone menu I do get to see my phone's address book.

BMW M4 from November 2015 with iPhone 6 running iOS 10.1.1.

Did something change? Is it because of an iOS update?

I just noted the same problem with a Galaxy S7. The addresses are in the phone directory, but not accessible from the navigation.

Thoughts?

Same here, on iPhone as well. On my side the addresses come up with a ? As the first character and cannot be read by idrive.

I have tried it also with an iPhone 5S unfortunately I have no iPhone that is still running an older version of iOS so I don't know whether this is linked to iOS 10.1.x and older or not. I have an iPhone that is running iOS 10.2 Beta and same problem.

This is kind of annoying because this was a functionality that I used a lot.
