Matt (Subaruwrxfan) recently reviewed my M3 with Competition Package and I thought you guys might be interested in hearing his thoughts. Love or Hate his reviews, I still enjoy watching reviews done by car enthusiasts.

Pretty decent review. The smile on his face when he gives it some "welly" pretty much match my smile. Nice country roads he was driving on. He is an enthusiast: therefore our kind of guy!

From what I could see, he was not pushing it very hard. In fact, I bet he didn't go above 5k revs.

Nonsense. It had a "very easy" first 700 miles before this review. No cruise, no highway, and no redline.

First service completed, I didn't void my warranty.

He somewhat misspoke. GTS Flash is for the DCT only, no changes to engine tuning. Just improved shifting and smoothness.

Yeah same here. I was wondering if he only had it in S3 for DCT but efficient for engine mode.

With the windows down it cracks and pops like crazy on decel in Sport+

I hate that comment on how this car sounds like a Civic...

"sounds like a Honda", "BMW makes worst sounding cars", "fake noise", etc... ugh.
I am really getting tired of these 14-18yo kids and other bros, who have never heard this car in person, who have never driven it, talk shit and regurgitate what they read on the internet like parrots.

On a different note, I love Matt's videos! His reactions on hard pulls, really make his reviews unique and tell you a lot about the car.

You should see how unenthused he was when he floored a Focus RS he reviewed. Means he wasn't all that impressed with the car... he's not faking it
