How do you put these on? Is it just 3M double sided automotive tape?

Yes 3m tape will work.

I don't want to split these up yet and price is firm for now as I'm cheaper than anywhere else.

I don't own an m4 so I didn't test them. I was going to convert my front end but decided against it. Should fit the same as all the other ebay ones. Think someone local is picking them up today. Sorry haven't had time for pics.
