F80/F82 BavSound subwoofer upgrade any good?

I have the Harman Kardon sound system. I would like a little more bass out of it. Not a lot more, just maybe another 1 or 2 db at the 40Hz range would do it some good.

"Bavsound Ghost Underseat Subwoofer Upgrade" from the standard system (2015 models only) would probably be good, but what if you are starting with the Harman Kardon already?

Anyone do this upgrade? Was there a noticeable difference?

Yes, it is good and noticeable. Easy install as well. The tweeters particularly are better and make music so much more clear sounding. The subwoofers are definitely worth the upgrade as well in my opinion. Had the full stage 1 upgrade installed for about a month and a half now and I enjoy it

There are some great reviews in the Audio sub forum, but TLDR the sub upgrade sounds great but you have to push more volume through them to hear it. I can't say how they stand on their own with stock HK speakers, as I did the Stage One upgrade also.

I have the bavsound stage 1 and ghost subs. The speakers get rid of the harshness and fill the sound out a lot more.
The ghost subs will hit a little deeper, they are however FAR faster and accurate! It's more of a musical system than a boomy system.
If you delete the active sound it will greatly improve your sound all around.
Also upgrading to an iPhone 7 and an audioquest cinnamon lightning cable from a normal lightning and 6s made a huge difference as well. Especially where bass is concerned.

I have a F80 with HK and swapped out the OEM subs to Bavsound's ghosts. Very easy DIY install, just follow the Youtube video.

The increased base is VERY noticeable, you can feel it in your butt. You won't regret the upgrade!
