adding 12v plug under dash below glovebox?

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone has installed a 12v plug under the dash right below the glove box. I have the hole but no power outlet in it.

Just wondering what parts are needed and where does it tap into? Thanks

Seriously, you don't have 12V port there? Did you look under there with a flashlight? If you don't have a 12V port under the glovebox then apparently BMW removed it for 2017. Or maybe it's not on Canadian cars?

I have it in my 2016 and it's in my wife's E92 335is.

F80 MY17 here, can confirm I have a 12V outlet under the glove compartment

It must be a Canadian thing as I don't have a socket. Just a circular hole in the plastic where it should be

Did you actually get under there with a flashlight and look? Mine also has another hole under there as well.
