Use CA remote instead of regular keyless remote

Need a new remote. Am going to order the non-CA remote, but was wondering if a CA remote can be programmed (by deslership).

This would cut the cost in the long run of having to buy a remote every time the battery dies.

the CA needs to be programmed;
a keyfob by default is just that; does some functionality but not the full CA

The CA keys you replace the battery, why are you buying a new remote every time?
even non CA keys you charge in the key holder?

they are 2 DIFFERENT KEYS,

CA has a replaceable battery
non-ca does not and you charge it up
