That looks great. Think SO is one of the best colours for showing off the 666's

Drove past a spotless SO M3 today and it looked lovely.

SO seems to suit the M3 really well.

Looks gorgeous and you're right - wheels go perfectly with it.

Was that up in Scotland? I saw one as well around Fife with black wheels, looked very nice, obviously gave him the obligatory wave

I am going to be placing an order in September and i still do not know which colour i want although SO with Opal White interior on the CP is one of my options! CP Wheels look the best on MW, AB and SO.

I still won't know what to do come ordering date!

That looks really good. Sits nicely on the rear too.

I wonder what it would look like with the GTS style orange accent colour on the wheels. Probably too much in reality, but would be interesting to see if anyone actually goes there...

Managed to pick up my first scuff on the 666s this weekend. Now considering my options regarding to paint, or not to paint!

If the scuff is on the outside you can just sand/buff it out, my wheel guy uses a 3M abrasive disk as the wheels are just machined... if somehow it's on the inside then you need to paint.

come on Col... what's it gonna take to convert you from 666 hater to devil worshipper

they really are so much better in the metal. forget pictures. go see, touch, smell and admire a set in person and then tell me you still hate em...

if you still hate them you need to miss church for the next few weeks and go and do something naughty, then you will see the light

I've seen them in the flesh now mate... I still think they remove all aggressiveness away from the M3/4 (it was a Ferrari red M4)

Why they couldn't just do a vorsteiner style wheel or even a nice CSL style is beyond me... The 666M wheels would look ok on a 5 or 6 series. But they dominate the 3/4 and command all your attention for the wrong reasons.

I know I'm in the minority, it's just annoying that almost every car now has them on, I used to enjoy looking at pics of people's new cars.. Now I only see those wheels

Well the good thing is that those wheels will sell easily if one wanted to change to an aftermarket style.

I kinda agree with you that they're an acquired taste and I like the Black M4 wheels a touch better.

They aren't the worst style though and I may possibly do mine gloss Black if they don't fully grow on me.

Taking delivery of a cp next week and in all honesty not the biggest lover of the wheels. I've never seen them in the flesh however so when I see I may be inclined to change my mind.

Plan is to fit some 18" 513Ms in a square setup as I absolutely love them. BBS FI-R's are my favourite but at £7k I doubt that will be an option haha

Is Sakhir not discontinued as a colour option in the UK? Reports and rumours of paint problems?

I think it's just a rebrand paint option called Sakhir orange II on its way... I think there were too many variations out there and they need some uniformity! Time for a revamp.

I had my SSii rear bumper replaced today and the body shop said there were 6 colours in the silverstone II paint to blend in..! Dread to think how many shades and tints are in Sakhir orange!

It's still here for 2017 models fear not..

I would want to keep it more low key. I already feel a bit nervous leaving my car in some areas, worried it could get keyed
