Nissan Micra in Silverstone...almost
The day I sold my X6 in anticipation of my new M3, I found a neighbour selling his mother's Micra. One owner in all its 16 years and just 33k miles. I don't know what it was that attracted me to it but I liked it and bought it. I think it was the 'clean' colour.
A few days ago, some guy knocked on my door wanting to buy it. He returned three times in 48 hours but never left his number. As this was a temporary car for me, I agreed to sell it (total loss of £25 in 24 days). He turned up with the money but at the last minute said he was a motor dealer and wanted the whole logbook minus yellow piece. I completed the details, took the cash and handed over the car. Then I went online to notify DVLA. The address was fake, but I completed the form as is and as far as I'm concerned all done. Wonder where the car will turn up? It's currently untaxed and uninsured. What a shame after 16 years of love and care. Anyway, nice colour, don't you think? |

That does sound a bit suspect. Anyway, should've kept it- ACS springs, a Steinbauer box and you'd be well on your way to a perfect daily. I'm sure teaston would've offered to wrap the seats/windows/lights/speedometer in carbon fibre too.
