blind spot warning

I have had the new X5 for about a 3 weeks now. I am slowing realizing a few things that are little inconvenient when driving. For example, the blind spot warning only seems to be activated above the speeds of 40 or 50 kms and the lane departure warning above the speeds of 70 kms. Is there a way to have the blind spot warning activated for all speeds? Is there coding available for it?

Thanks,

wifesbimmer , blind spot warning / lane change assist you can code. Not sure about the lane departure. Never paid attention to that.

Min speed on blind spot is 30km/hr, any lower and you get errors. I turned off lane departure on mine, got tired of the steering wheel vibration every time I changed lanes without a turn signal.

Blind Spot warning gives a warning by vibrating your steering wheels similar to lane change warning without using the blinkers.

I actually prefer BMW's blind spot detection over the other manufactures which to seems to be more annoying. So annoying that I may just ignore it.. similar to Valentine 1 radar detector
