S/C peeps, do your street tires spin in 2nd gear or 3rd gear

just wondering what gear you can feel the full effect of the supercharger's hp? I am sure everyone spins their street tires in 1st and superchargered cars in 2nd. What about 3rd gear? Do you have to be judicious with the throttle in 3rd too?

Also if you answer could you mention what supercharger kit you are using

Thanks

The very top of 3rd my car spins the wheels.

285 Michelin pilot sport rears

2nd around 7k she lets loose a tad bit but holds it until right before 8 and taps the rev limiter lol

570-ish wheel on my daily ESS 650 set up. I launch hard in 1st gear and start spinning at 5-6k. I only barely spin top of 2nd and no spin in 3rd on 275 35 19 PSS on ZCPs, stock ZCP suspension with one upgrade - MRF solid subframe bushings which help quite a bit.

Spinning is loosing. If you spin at those speeds you should address it with better tires/suspension.

I have had some really bad tires like the stock PZeros and RS-3's which would spin the tires uncontrollably up through 5th gear lol.

Good tires that I have tried besides PSS include NT-05's and RE71R's.

295s on the rear and I'll spin first and second, sometimes third depending on the surface and tire temps. Even if I punch it in second at 4K I'll spin. But the Harrop has more low end torque
