Bumper mounted headlight sprayers

Hey guys, just last weekend I purchased my first E90 M3! Anyways it has the bumper mounted headlight sprayers and I am not a huge fan of them but I can tolerate them, I was just curious if there are any "delete caps/inserts" for them? I'd be disabling the function of them if so.

Thanks guys!

Lol.. please link to the DIY mod..

OP, I have cold weather package too.. and I dont' understand the 'timing' of the headlight spray.. seems like every 2/3 pulls before it ruins my car wash, even if I just wanted my windscreen cleaned.

In the owners manual there's more info as to how many cycles there are before a spray for the headlamp washers. There is an actual number, but I don't remember it off the top of my head. Also, the cycle only counts when the headlamps are on at night.

To the OP, consider investing in one of the tools a lot of us forum members use on our cars to code specific things. (Inb4 vsix!) Research CarlyforBMW. using their app and dongle you are able to code out features (such as disable headlamp washers or select how many cycles to run after) and code in other desirable features as well.

haha funny you say that because I also have a 93 civic daily driver that I added a rear sprayer (facing outward) attached to washer pump/2liter bottle for those nice people who like to ride my a** in traffic. Works very well.

Not a bad idea to flip them around though haha I do seem to be missing the sprayer "tip" on the passenger side too.. ugh..

Yeah, my E46 did the same thing and I personally think its silly.. it was like every 5th pull or something stupid.. I just pulled the fuse to them

Hmm, I did stumble across this "carly" app on the forum a couple days ago. Ill have to look into it. I sounded like it can do quite a bit

It's pretty neat, not to expensive up front, but it allows you to code things with confidence with an overall easy UI.

I only wish I had this option when I was living in Midtown Atlanta years ago!

You can have them de-activated through Coding and they will stop working. Nothing more to do. Indeed annoying and the entire car ends up dirty as hell.

I went a little further... ripped it all out, plugged the line in the washer tank, changed the bumper and had it coded lol. Don't do that.

Mine are coded out as others have said, but you also have the option to not activate it. I can't remember if you activate by holding it down longer, but think that's it.
