Paint Protection Film North West England
Hi All,
I'd like to get PPF fitted to the front end of my M4 to protect from stone chips but have a few questions. 1. Can anybody recommend a company in the North West that does this well? 2. What is should I look to be paying for this? 3. Is there a particular product I should get it wrapped in that's better than other and, if so, why? Appreciate any help with this as I need to book my car in asap. Cheers, CH. |

1. Don't know, good luck
2. In a reputable workshop (in greater London, if that matters), expect £1,000~£1,800 depends on coverage, ie bumper only or full pre A pillar. For your reference a full car cover will cost ~£4800 3. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=1125982 |

http://www.invisifilm.co.uk Your car will definitely be looked after I have seen some of the cars they have done, great job. I got a quote for my future F80 £1500+vat for full car / £600 + vat for front bumper, mirrors, part bonnet. Not cheap but not had any other prices either. They are in Stockport, Cheadle Hulme |

Thanks for this information chaps. I can't believe it's that much though. I was thinking £500 but on the quote I got that doesn't even cover the entire bonnet which makes me worry that you'd be able to see a line where the PPF ends right across the bonnet. To do the entire bonnet is an extra £300 and then there's the VAT to go on top of that.
The car I just sold was peppered with stone chips. I had the car from new and it was almost 4 years old. I've never had a car before that was as badly stone chipped as that. They have started leaving lots of loose stones on newly resurfaced roads around my way in the last few years which I'm sure is the main cause of the damage. I really don't want that to happen to the M. CH. |

Hi ajfoggy
I am interested in doing the full car at invisifilm, do you know where they are located? Cannot find their location anywhere online? Cheers

100 Grove Lane Cheadle Hulme Cheshire SK8 7NB If a few of us booked with them at the same time they might offer some kind of group discount. There's a load of us getting our M's in next few months. Maybe 10 of us booking in with them, or another company, would work? Edit: I just e-mailed them to ask this question. Will post response if when I get one. |
