halliwell warrington if anyone feels the need to go and sit in it.

Very nice in full black exterior, until they wreck it anyway.

A bit worrying the amount of surface scratching on the wheels though....

Looking good.
Apart from the fact some monkey has cleaned the wheels with a Brillo pad.

Although I hope this CP isn't going to bit too harder a ride. A guy on m3cutters posted up today that he tested the non-cp and cp back to back and said the cp is quite firm compared to the standard car.

But then others that own the CP have said its fine.

As long as it's not crashy like an audi.

I'm not sure but the scratches could be like that on all, could be the finish maybe to give them that dull effect they have.

Wondering whether I should request a test drive, I find it hard to lie to them and not mention that I have already ordered, etc.

If you are concerned you could always tell them the truth you've ordered one but you'd like a test drive. After all, you "may" still do business with them in the future, thats all you tell them! Say how rare they are and that you've had trouble sourcing one to test drive.

Tell them you only want 15 mins drive just to check the ride, they might just accommodate you.

Also, if you don't get cracking soon, your car build will be locked down then there is no changing of spec.

There is a guy in the USA bit of this site that has just got his cp and finds it quite hard. He is even dropping the tyre pressure as he finds it a bit jarring..

It will be good to get some more opinions of the guys that have/are getting them. I don't want something that is going to break my back

Will do! Have been saving up my meetings (that and fact I can't put any more miles on 335d so postponing things I need to do).

All I keep thinking is that it cannot be harder than the gen 1 x6 we had running on 20" with run flats.. That was not just hard but would bounce of bumps

I think it all depends on our individual perceptions of what a hard ride is. Some are more tolerant than others I guess.
But we should be all prepared that it wont be no limo!!!

But still, it cant be that much worse than a F3x was bloody run flats!!!

I wonder if people confuse firm with harsh, firm is fine as long as it's well damped and has a bit of depth to the tyre walls, most M cars run taller tyres than M sports due to having a wider tyre and the same if not greater aspect ratio, but the CP on 20" might be quite tight to the rim.

Thought I would post some cp photos..

If anyone is in any doubt over the wheels go and see them in the flesh, they really are very nice (and I hated them) Looking at a black and white car I think they are much better with dark colours, like black wheels are good with white.

Seats are lovely, I sat in both and the cp seats remind me of the sports seats in the 911 I had and they were great

They started it up in the showroom and it sounded awesome, I personally will not be changing the exhaust.

Taking it all into account I personally think the cp is a no brainier, the wheels, seats and power are worth it alone. I think even if the ride is a bit harder as long as the damping is good and it's not crashy then it will be great..

That's lovely Scott. I sat in a non cp M3 last week while out and about up in the midlands and the seats were great. Think the cp is even more supportive.

I guess it was quite loud on cold start up!

The cp seats I personally think are great, as I said very much like the sports seats in the 911. Take a bit of getting use to but once you have spent time I them they are so so good.

The exhaust was loud but not in an offensive way, it's very deep and sounded great.
