Apologize if this is a dumb question but how would one know if their car also has an unsupported ROM version?

Due to updates and stuff you might have to read out the software revision you have using bmw standard tools, or get someone else with a cable to do it. BT software might have this capability too, I dunno. Then you ask cobb if they support that version.

The only way I could find out was by plugging in the AP. There are only a couple that are not supported.
