Exhaust valve delete kit

Hey guys, does anyone know a UK source for the JCR designs valve delete kit, or something similar?

I don't feel the need to be able to switch the valves open or closed and just want them open full time.

I'd like to keep things tidy and like the male/female plugs that come with the JCR kit. Anyone done this in the UK?

Hi, I have fitted this kit, its first class and works perfect, the noise from the stock exhaust is transformed, you can have it default open and OEM when activated, comes from the US in 5 days and around £150 plus import tax, I was £21 for tax, its good quality and fitted in 30 mins, you can drop the rear heat sheild and tuck the cable away, it's very neat, might be of interest to you, cheers John

Why dont you just open the valves, then pull the plugs off ?, the valves will stay open forever, until you replug them back in. No money needed, this is a free mod, if thats all you want to do. I would personally go with the CG controller.

With you on this Simon, that would do the trick, the CG also works just great, John

By having the valve open all the time, are you reducing low end torque? Does there need to be some back pressure with the valve closed?

I've noticed with my capristo exhaust on the Porsche, which valve controlled, it picks up better from a dig with the valve closed and then boosts more and has a noticeable surge when the value opens. I have a sport mode which keeps valves closed at low back pressure and then opens the valves when back pressure increases, at about say 3/4K rpm, or open all the time for really loud sound! My boost pressure reading only increases and you feel it when the valves are closed and then open during wot.

Yeah thats what I was planning, the thing with the kit I mentioned was it came with the male/female plugs to make sure dirt and water doesnt get into the plugs.

The plugs can easily be protected by either a good tape, or by cutting the fingers off a rubber glove, and slide it over the connector.
