BMW heads up display add on
I found this post roaming around the general forums
Add on heads up display. Doesn't look horrible and seems to be a great option for those without the option from factory http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...49&postcount=1 |

Based on the look I think it would look weird on the SUVs since we drivers sit higher up?
Does look pretty need, wished they made this work with the in-car navigation at least. |

I have seen that thread and it is a great one. I alert you to post #144 on the thread as a caution....I'd enquire about warranty. There are other great gems in the thread:
- Posts 181-185 (wifi streaming TV into the car) - Posts 121-128 on a crazy DIY mod |

Here's another alternative, a visor mounted HUD.

Although I think more data could be displayed in the existing HUD, that one seems to be showing too much info IMO (like too distracting). In future models, it would be great to be able to customize what data drivers want to see displayed on the HUD.
