Occasional rubbing like the clutch isn't fully disengaging.
So very occasionally, and randomly it seems, if I'm idling at a light in neutral it sounds like there's a bit of a ticking rubbing noise. This goes away immediately when I push in the clutch. I'm wondering if this is something to do with the clutch not fully disengaging and clearing the motor or not. Anyone have any thoughts? Of course when you go to get it checked they never can get it to act up. Wondering if anyone else had experienced this before.

I also have this same issue on my car. It seem like I hear it after the car has been driven a while. I don't think it happens right away when its cold. And just like you described, it goes away as soon as I push in the clutch.
I had the dealer check it out last summer but of course they said they didn't hear anything. I'm having the car serviced next week and I will make sure they hear it this time. I also feel its something like the throw-out bearing and at some point it will get worst or something will fail. If you can shoot a video of the sound and post it on here and I'll see if I can do the same this weekend.
