Stock exhaust tips

So I was wandering around the internet looking at interesting things for the soon to be arriving M4, and found these:

http://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/p...107853892.html

Apparently they are the Competition Pack tips and I spoke to Cotswold and they can supply them. The CP says it comes with the 'sports exhaust', which I assume is not the MPE, but doesn't seem to be the stock exhaust either so I am now thoroughly confused.

What I really want to know is will these tips fit the stock exhaust (seems like they will) and will they look any good or will they stick out half a mile and have visible clamps???

Any help gratefully received.

Don't know if these are the competition ones (don't see BMW Part number). Mine in the pic below are the original ones and fit just perfect (and are about the same price). Part number 18107853892

Hi, same issue, you can buy IND tips for $448 dollars, I heard that the CP pack has a modified stock exhaust with some baffles removed and black tips fitted, it's is 100% not the MPE, so we must be able to get BMW black tips, my plan was to paint but I think powder coating is the way say £40, they are on a ring clip and easily removed.

Mine are the CZP, and I have the original F80/82 Exhaust. Fit perfectly - changed in 15mins. Cost much less then the IND ones.

I got the CP tips (same as above) last week and they fit perfectly and look great. My dealer sold them to me for $54 each.

It sounds like main dealers can get the ones I linked (Cotswold BMW said they could source them) but I'd like to see those exact tips on a car before I buy - I just don't want them to stick out / look like add ons.....

Cotswold have said they would sell these as £183 inc delivery. Would just love to see them on a stock exhaust before I press the button!

Do you have a part number or link, they will be fine, the MPE titanium or carbon do not fit the stock exhaust, I have a 640 msport for daily use and it has balck tips so it must be possibile

I looked at the IND tips and looked on the Interweb for tips,
The only thing that stopped me getting them was the cost
I then decided to remove my stock tips and get them powder coated,
IMO they look the same as any you can purchase on the interweb,

Cost was £20 for the powder coating of all 4 tips and saved myself £££
rather than pay for a set of tips that have through the same process as my stock set , they also make a difference to my MG F82 M4

Looks good, but its not like the ones from the Comp. Package. They're more darkgrey-glossy (black chrome). Same as the badge (I ordered too). See this pics:
