M3 lease residual jump

Last year Feb through March residuals on M3 increased from 61% to 65% on 12k mile leases. Any clue if its going to happen this year as well? Will be awesome if it does.

This would be wonderful as mine will be here mid month. Seems like a big jump though with the high demand.

No one knows yet, not even dealers. Until the current month ends and BMW starts the new month it's just a guess what will happen.

edit: February programs end on the 29th. March 1st is when we will know what the new residuals will be.

I'm not sure it will jump that much. I think it will move back to 62 in March, 63 in April/May and 64 in June/July for 10K a year(my guess).

Cool. So the longer my dealer takes to get me a production slot the better off I might be...

Potentially true. However, when they raise the residuals they don't usually offer much incentives, if any at all.

I'll be signing during the first week of March. I'm hoping my estimates are off and we all get lucky.

I would not be surprised if this happens again since it's once again time for a model year change.

to me, you want to get the best negotiated rate off the MSRP. Forget the low residual! if the car is worth more down the road, selll it for 2-3k more!
