Night Vision Coding

Has anyone figured out how to code the spotlight function in night vision?

Don't think coding will get you there by itself. If you don't have night vision, you may need a different KAFAS, and certainly you will need to buy different fog lights. The spots lit up are done so by the fogs, and possibly aided by the Euro spec headlights.

About a year ago there was a post from someone who had night vision in the US, and had modified all his lights to Euro spec. He was able to then activate this feature. He managed to code and get it to work as advertised. The result was a lot of middle fingers by pedestrians. That person had also replaced the headlights to Euro spec (which requires a different wiring harness and coding as well).

LOL never thought about the sheer mischief that it would cause in a parking lot... would be quite hilarious actually.

Yeah I have the the NV cam and LED lighting package , but from what you're saying sounds like theres a wiring harness I would need. If so, not worth the trouble. Although on country roads it would be extremely helpful

To be certain, I am paging wdimagineer. He is the lights guru, amongst other things.

I think I have to take back my comment on the fog lights. I think you already have the appropriate ones which are not the standard LEDs if you have night vision. But there may be more to it and you may need the whole euro spec LED headlights as well vs US LED version.

In my car it only works in dangerous situations, so no middle fingers. Its brilliant.

US. Imagine spot lights on people walking on sidewalks.

May have been a coding thing where it was triggered at a lower speed and more aggressively (as it can be done with some other features) than default settings.

that is what i am thinking... i think the dynamic "lightspot" feature was too sensitive or encoded improperly.

This is not working as it should.

This is just way too cool - unfortunate that we don't have that capability here in the US by default
