Car mods, I have to draw a line somewhere...

So I just got my 2016 M3 a week ago and I have been bitten by a mod bug...

So far:

FULL Front Xpel Ultimate install (You need to protect the investment)
All around 35% Ceramic tints (It's a must on a white M3)
Macht Schnell wheel spacer 15mm Front, 12mm Back (WOW! Cannot image the car without it)
$200 worth in cleaning/wax products
HK Bav Sound upgrade (I'm crazy for good audio, and the HK is week IMO)
Black front grill (It is a must have, IMO)

Now looking at Carbon Fiber rear diffuser and trunk CF spoiler.

Man, I just cannot help myself, and the car has only 400 miles so far.

My good side says STOP, car is not an investment and adding more money in it is a dumb thing.

My bad side says, you got to have all this mods or it will NOT look complete.

Anyone else in the same boat?

UPDATE:

I also did a $3K garage remodeling with Gladiator Premier Cabinets

Escort Max 360

You just referred to detailing supplies, clear bra, and window tint as "mods."

As far as I'm concerned, the "mod bug" hasn't bitten you nearly hard enough.

Ive had my F82 for 6 months, driven it 2139 miles, spent over 10k in aftermarket, and now im kind of over it and want to sell.

Trust me when i say your issues are small compared to others on this forum!

I'll have to agree. I think some people are a little too liberal with the term "mod" on here.

Heh... just don't buy a JEEP....

How much difference is there from a properly tuned HK setup to the BAV upgrade? I recall hearing there was not a major difference, which is why I haven't touched it.

64-bit, did you do any coding. If you have LED's this is a must. Also seatbelt chime turned off, brake lights flicker when emergency stopping, air turned completely off when you turn the car off, it doesn't automatically come on until you put it on. Euro MDM mode. This is very inexpensive to do. Should take a coder about an hour. Good luck

Yeah okay but how much did you spend on detailing supplies?

Heading down the same path myself. It's easy to do when a full bolt-on car is still considered "stock" by that community.

You came to the wrong place if you want someone to tell you to slow your roll on mods.

It would be like if you came to us & were worried you had a problem with drugs because you did a line off a stripper's ass
and the rest of us would be.....

Sorry what did you say?
