Forum Poll - 19s or 20s
Hey all,
I know plenty of people have opinions on this and I want to see how the overall community leans. Attached are 2 pictures. Black M4 with HRE P101s in 20 (Thanks GOLFFFRR) and a white M4 with HRE R101s in 19. So what does everyone prefer 19s or 20s? |

I'll take option 3: both those cars are unbelievably sexy so it comes down to personal preference. I normally like 19s but those particular wheels on that particular car look like a match made in heaven

I think it depends on the style that you're looking at or looking for. I like 19"s for a thick and meaty-track like fitment, and 20"s are great looking, but I would say they're more for show if you're asking for my opinion. I think at the end of the day though, I would personally go with 19" for a bit more meat on the tire like this for example - 19" R101's in Brushed Dark Clear:

I also think it depends on the style.
I personally like 19s. But the general rule I like to go by... 19" for concave monoblock wheels. 20" for lipped/dished wheels. Those R101 wheels in dark clear brushed finish are amazing. |

In the end dark brushed clear is my favorite finish but blends in too much on a mineral grey car. Not sure you can beat black on MG.

definitely depends on the style of the wheel and of the owner.
Some people want the biggest wheel they can put in a wheel well without the car looking jacked up. Some want something with a meatier tire showing. On the same train of thought on this thread, I'm pretty sure Sam@ModeCarbon is running 18s that looks GREAT on the car. So its all style of the wheel, the owner and the overall car. That said, I personally prefer 20s, but theres a lot of 19s on here Ive been seeing that can sway me to go that way

Wow I expected 19s to win but not by this much.
The biggest thing keeping me 19s right now is tires. The 20" MPSS are out of stock still and expensive. I wish they made 20" RE11... |
