Black side vents on light coloured cars

I thought you might like to see the pics from my side trim replacement today. They are M Performance BMW parts and were on offer from Cotswold BMW.

Tried to get the old ones off gently but as most people have experienced the clips broke, but no stress. Used the original base and just changed the chrome top for the black top.

Makes such a difference, I am now almost de-chromed having done the M Performance front grilles and M Performance carbon rear Spoiler (I am keeping the chrome M4 badge but will get my exhaust tips changed for black ones), looks a lot more menacing.., even in YMB!!

Very pleased, for £95 it really makes a fair difference....

Looks greats! Are these the correct part codes for them, 51712356982 and 51712356983?

They are the second item down on this post. Phil from Cotswolds' number is below the pic.

I asked to have these installed with the gloss grill and was told I needed to get them from IND.

Really?! I am very keen to keep my car as close as possible to BMW made bits, so M Performance over IND. Speak to Phil at Cotswold and you will have the parts the following day. Neither are difficult to fit, make a massive difference...!

I have to agree, they look great on virtual any colour. I can't understand why BMW made them silver in the first place
