Exclamation Anyone familiar with the Alutec Pearl Wheels for Winter?

The biggest plus with this wheel is that it is 8.5" wide so it can take a 255/40 tire unlike the other ones which are 8" wide and the max you can go on them is 245 for the tire.

Called TireRack and this was their #1 recommended wheel for my needs which it to only drive in the dry in the winter on non-snow and non-rain days. I have a second car for snow days and plan to drive the M when it's not snowing on raining but even though it will be dry, the extremely low temperatures still warrant the use of winter tires. For my specific scenario TireRack recommended I stay with 255's over 245's since the wider tire is better for dry conditions and the only wheel that fits the bill is the Alutec.

So anyone got these wheels? They are essentially RIAL wheels for the European market.

Thanks.
