Decisions, decisions.....
Narrowing down the possibilities....I think.....I have settled on a color combo for my to-be-ordered F83.
Gray metallic of some sort over tan leather of some sort. Narrow, right? Anyway, it's a toss up between Mineral Gray, Silver Gray and Space Gray over Amaro or Golden Brown full Seeing them all together in person would help a lot, but prolly not in the cards. I've been rooting around the forum and have found some together but not all three. Samples form the dealership will prolly be required, but to narrow it a bit more, maybe some posts are out there I missed? The golden brown seems less red than the Amaro, but again, never seen them together. Any leads appreciated as always. S |

It's a black, gray, silver, white automobile world. Why?? There are many great colors in this world.

I think that Golden Brown actually looks more red than Amaro Brown. But you can't go wrong with either of these 2 brown colors. As for the grey exterior colors, I prefer a lighter grey, so I'd take Space Grey or Silver Grey.

BMW's Pure Metal Silver is a possibility, but not for $10gs! I went over to the MB lot next to the BMW dealer and saw a CLA Benz in a color that was in between and very nice. Polar Silver. Question is: will BMW put a competitor's color on an Individual order? Prolly. Just takes $$$$$$$$, right? Last edited by rockitdoc; 01-03-2016 at 05:57 PM.. |

If the color has been done before and Individual approves it, they'll do it for $5,000. If they need to do R&D first, then it's $7,500 (or more). They may also just deny it altogether. Your CA can put in a request for Individual to give a yes/no and cost if yes.

If not approved, back to Plan B. How long does 'approval' take? |
