Price on XPEL Ultimate... Thoughts please
I was quoted $1425 for front bumper, FULL hood, PARTIAL fenders, mirrors, and lugage area strip.
Does this sound right? The regular front end and luggage area strip would be $825. Basically getting charged another $600 for the rest of the hood. Hmmm... |

Depends on market and quality of installer. Price quotes I have received have been around that number

yea that sounds about right, I had full front clip to include headlights, A pillars, and the entire CF roof, side mirrors and luggage area for 1800 euro at an authorized X-pel dealer/installer in the Netherlands. He also did my window tint as well......top Quality work and a very competitive price. Would highly recommend.

about the same here in Salt Lake. now price how much the entire car would be for coverage and 1400 bucks sounds like a steal =)

I haven't been quoted on mine yet but that seems about right in terms of cost., form the research I have done. I'm still trying to find an authorized XPEL installer near me...

Pulled the trigger. There are only 2 installers in my area. Going with Auto Paint Guard out of Cincinatti. He will come to my garage to do the work. He did my E92 but went he cheaper route. Install quality is excellent... Just checking prices.

I'm in Louisville, KY so my options are limited. Guys in major cities have many more options but sometimes have a higher cost due to the local market. C'est la vie.

As others stated, pricing depends on location. Try to get headlights and door edges covered as throw-ins for the price. If not much more I'd get the full fenders covered too if the full hood is getting done. I always thought they did partial hood / partial fenders or full hood / full fenders but not a combination of full / partial.

I didn't due the full fender because the partial covers the portion "facing the wind" if you know what I mean. The fender tucks back under afterward. They can do whatever you want. the hood was cut from bulk film. All the other pieces were pre cut with the edges extended for overlap where applicable.
Anyways, I also got the B-pillars and the fuel door. A couple of imperfections on the hood because of the size of the film but nothing I will remember in 3 months. |
