By "Rotating" do you mean get new ones? My guess is my rears will only last around 10k...I am at 7k right now. My fronts are fine. My guess is a ratio of 2 rears to 1 front change out.

I thought our MPSS and Contis are not directional tires. Therefore you can rotate front wheels together and rear wheels together without dismounting the tires.

Bro, my tire rotates around 767 times per mile. With traction control off, it rotates quite a bit more though. Bro.

Again they are not directional. they are asymmetric design.

The way I determine what type of tire it is if the tire has a contact patch thats wider on one side vs the other side then it's a dead give away they are asymmetrical and not unidirectional; I can't think of a tire off the top of my head that is unidirectional that isn't a mirror image on both sides.

To the OP the only rotation you'll be doing on this car is lighting up the rear tires and replacing them.

A better picture representation would be that of the sidewall. If an arrow is present it precisely indicates a directional tire.

With that being said you can still make the determination, less precisely, via the tread pattern. With a directional tire it will look symmetrical across the entire width. Subjectively the look really 'cool'.

I had directional tires on a car long ago.

Sorry Im a bit of a noob. I meant to take the front wheels and tires and put them in the back of the car and the rears to the front. Do we have to do this on the M4? I came from a very modest Honda Accord and rotated every 6,000 miles or so.

You can't because the front and rear wheels and tires are different width.

What if you have the same size tire (255) on both for winter?
