M1 & M2 buttons

Whilst on my test drive before ordering my F82 I pushed one of the M buttons and the car turned into a monster!!

What configs have you all set up on your M buttons and what does the car default to when switched on ?

I did a test drive today and it defaulted to efficiency, sport, sport. M1 and M2 can be your own presets.

Default is "Efficient" engine mapping, sport suspension and sport steering. That will always come up when you start.

Personally, I have M1 set to Sport engine mapping, comfort suspension and Sport + steering. That's my cruising mode.

M2 is set to Sport+ all around, M Performance HUD and Traction Control off. Aka: Beast Mode.

Ha ha. Loving the sound of beast mode. Think that may be what the dealer had preset on my test drive. Can you feel with difference with traction control off? Does it get some back end action?

I have M1 set to:
Efficient - Comfort - Comfort - D2 - DSC ON

M2:
Sport+ - Comfort - Sport+ - D3 - DSC ON

I drive around in M2 about 99% of the time with the valves opened. The reason I put M1 in D2 is because in D1 there is droning around 2000RPM with the valves open. Sometimes on the highway I switch to M1 and keep the valves closed and you cannot hear the car.

I would love to be able to code M2 on by default but so far nobody figured out how to code this.

With traction off the car will do nothing but shred tires if that's what you want. Some criticize the car for this but others including myself respond with two words; throttle modulation.

You can have that sound all the time.... Just disconnect the exhaust flaps in the open position
