Catted downpipe in CA?

Anyone have any idea if there is any catted dp that will pass emissions in cali?
Id like to upgrade but dont love the idea of having to do a swap for testing.

Smog certification is only required if the vehicle is 6 models years or older.
Also there is no tail pipe sniffer test any more when you smog a vehicle, the entire smog certification is a "Visual Inspection." I think this is for all vehicles 2000 and newer but not exactly sure what the cutoff year is.

Getting catted DP does not give you a 100% guarantee that you will pass emission. Some pass others don't

My AMS catted DP's have never given any trouble and pass inspection.

As long as there is a LEGAL cat then you will be ok if there is an inspection.
Don't know if people know this but there is a specific stamp that is required for a legal catalytic convertor.
If it does not have it, and your smog tech inspects the vehicle which they all are supposed to do, then you will fail and the failure will be noted in the file that ALL smog stations will see when they scan your car.

Everything that people on here talk about saying their "catted downipes" work fine is probably in relation to no check engine light.
But that does not mean that the cat is legal in your state
