Tint cleaning?

I'm getting my car tinted tomorrow using 3M film. I've never had a non-factory tint on any of my cars.

My installer is saying the only thing to use to clean the inside of the Windows after tinting is water. Just water. Is that right?

I have read I shouldn't be using any ammonia based cleaner, but have also seen postings that the Windex w/Vinegar should be perfectly fine to use on tinted windows.

What are you tint veterans using to clean the insides of your windows? Thanks for the input!

oops.

i've used windex and other window cleaning crap on my tinted windows without issue. done a bit of reading on google and it says to stay away from any cleaning agents that contains ammonia (blue crap). apparently, any ammonia-free cleaning agents like windex crystal rain or a simple water + vinegar solution is safe to use.

that being said, ive probably sprayed all sorts of who knows what on my tinted windows for 6+ years on my older cars and never had an issue. ymmv i guess? oh well. new thing i learned for today.

Thanks all, I'm going to go with the vinegar windex or the I.G., then. Much appreciate the info.
