New M3 Owner!
Hey guys,
I'm a long time bmw/M car lover and I was lucky enough to have purchased a 2008 Jerez black e92 M3! the car was a One owner car 43k mile that was garage kept its whole life. I cant say enough great things about this car and I've long dreamed of owning one. I cant wait to start modifying it! I'm open to any advice you guys can give me on the car! I look forward to contributing to this great community! |

Congrats
Congrats. I just bought a "new" 2011 Jerez Black E92--what a beautiful color!
http://www.m3post.com/forums/images/...readjacked.gif A random question i can't seem to find an answer to anywhere--does anyone happen to know where the ambient air temp sensor is located? My car had some front end damage when I bought it and it looks like the sensor never got replaced (it's throwing a CEL error). Thanks! |

Good looking car. I would like some 18 inch wheels. The taller profile rides much better and actually turned quicker times on track.
One thing I've learned owning mine for several years now is they knew what they were doing when they set this car up. Go easy on modifications unless you're sure it won't upset the balance this car has. |

I'm probably going to go with basic bolt on mods. First mod I would like to get would be a manifold back exhaust to really hear this engine roar! I just don't want anything with a lot of drone. Thanks for the warm welcome and all the advise guys! |
