Likely because of this:
"Vehicle is sold as-is, no warranty due to a salvage title."

It'll be interesting to read up on what sort of damage gave it its salvage title. I'm not sure on what grounds the salvage title is given, but if it's something small, can it be overlooked?
Can anyone chime in on that? |

Salvage is Only a deal if you'll drive it till the wheels come off. Good luck selling it three years later with 70k miles |

If you want a good e92 M3 you have to pay to play.
Obviously this one is dirt cheap for a reason, there it is : VIN: WBSPM9C58BE203554 has been identified as a vehicle listed in the VINCheckSM Salvage Records. Date of loss: 2014-02-06 Cause of loss: Flood |

Well if it wasn't flooded before, it is now! What kind of inconsiderate moron leaves it open to the elements?

Personally I wouldn't touch a salvage car for a myriad of reasons including safety and resale ability regardless of asking price...
Of course each and every seller will usually mitigate the reasons why the car was given a salvage title (some little old lady lost the car one day and it wasn't found until last week...etc...) but those are usually snake oil salesmen in sheep's clothing. Besides the car itself I pay very close attention to who is selling it and their history with the car. The "best" deals are usually found from original owners that babied the car, have full documentation, and are willing to negotiate a good deal for both parties. |
