I know it's "Cheesy" but....
I have a SilverstoneII e93 that my wife (9 years younger) drives occasionally when not driving the X5d....She wanted them and they were cheap so I bought the LMDtoy Led Accent Lighting Kit to stay on Blue as that's what she wanted.
Anyway, I just got my ECU/DCT Tune, Borla ATAK and X Pipes so here goes.... Where is the easiest place to connect the Positive and Negative for these strips? I am 6'3" 340lbs (once played MLB at Georgia Tech) and my hands WILL NOT fit through the fuse box access door. Can anyone tell me a place or fuse that only becomes hot when the unlock button is depressed? Your help is much appreciated. Robert |

I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to which may be why no one is responding. Did you buy some kind of lights or something?

He is asking if anyone knows of a location within the vehicle's cabin into which he can connect the positive and negative leads of an LED strip....but in particular a connection which only become live when the vehicle is unlocked, as if to mimick the interior welcome lights. ...is this somewhat correct, Robert?

Your spelling or grammar makes the question hard to understand. If you are wiring inside of the interior, then search for Valentine V1 hardwire DIY manuals. I bet they are all over the inter webs. It will tell you which wires to hook up to. Edit: here you go I did my E46 M3 and E60 M5 this way. Last edited by Keca10; 12-03-2015 at 11:18 PM.. |

Op! It depends on where exactly are you putting the lights? Doors, dash, center, back seats?!
But the only thing i can come up with is that you will want to connect it to the closest light source from the installation: |

Calling forum members out for non response over the lull of the holiday when the question isn't well written elicits these type of responses.... Yes it's cheesy, extra lights on M3 is always cheese, try again.

No no. He played Middle Linebacker. Was probably 240lbs back when he did it tho, so he definitely got fat, and obviously all in his hands, as they cannot fit into small places. Please, help him out. |

Here in SF, if you can't get your hands in tight places, you go down to castro and hire someone to do the job for you....

So I will give you 1/2 point. He should just get his wife with her 9 years younger hands to do it... |

When there were no other posts other than yours in this thread I Googled "LMDtoy Led Accent Lighting Kit" and didn't find anything. It seems like all of us have no idea what you're referring to. I certainly don't. I would recommend you leave a link to what you're talking about in the future; that and a little patience.

Three hours should be more than enough time for you guys to answer his question. I managed to consult an oracle and ritually slaughter a goat to read its entrails to ascertain what he meant in the time it took you guys to mock him.
It's stuff like this that gives this community and BMW drivers a bad name.
