Sweet smell inside car

Smells almost like bubblegum - only inside the vehicle and trunk. Any ideas on what the issue could be? It started suddenly and does not seem to be going away.

Most likely coolant leaking from any of the HVAC components closest to the firewall, not sure though due to the smell being in the trunk as well.

This was my first actual guess too. Keep an eye on your coolant level if you need to keep driving before taking it in.

Had your interior detailed lately? Lots of different scents that that could of used. Aside from that.... have to go with hookers.

Do you have the carbon leather trim? I noticed the smell in my car changed when I swapped out my aluminum trim to the carbon leather. But it could just be from the previous owner's car that got embedded onto the trim.

My guess as well must be a regular chick not hooker though if it smells good in there, and also say still alive.

That's what most searches seem to indicate - however, the smell is pretty strong in the trunk also. The coolant level was full when I checked.

Looking back however, some ONR ( Optimum No Rinse ) wash may have spilled in the trunk some time back. Maybe thats the smell...
