SMB M3 - Finally Here
Well after a long wait, my SMB M3 has finally arrived. I've learned a lot from this forum and wanted to thank everyone for all the great info and help.
Attached are some preview shots - I unfortunately took delivery on a rainy day but the car currently is SpeedFreak Detailing getting Modesta and Suntek installed. I will post more pics when I pick it up. I do have to say that it is an absolutely amazing car and such fun to drive. I bought it without ever driving one and I don't regret at all. |

So some pics of my old ride - 2007 TL Type S Manual. Certainly a great car and we've made some great memories together. I will certainly miss it.

Post Suntek and Modesta pics. Brian from SpeedFreak took more professional pics so I will post those when I get them.

Love SMB. My M3 was a 2015 model so individual colors were not available, but I think I would have gotten SMB if available. It is going to look freaking awesome with Modesta BC-4. You should get the front orange reflectors changed before installing Suntek, but I guess it is not possible to match with an individual color...
Did you order it with the glossy black kidney grilles from the factory? Also, how much of a premium was it to get SMB versus one of the standard colors? |

I am going to do some of the codings but otherwise, I tend to keep my cars close to stock. And the SMB was $5000. A bit pricey but then again I am buying a BMW so it was worth it. |

SMB is incredible... Well worth the $5K. Congrats! Did you go manual for the F80 as well? I wanted a TL Type S manual back in the day but ended up with a G35 instead before I jumped over to BMW.

Yes its a manual. No question about it. TLS was an excellent. Gave me lots of good years but she was getting old.

Don't care how many SMB's are out there (that seems to be a problem for some), I'd still get it. The color fits the car so damn well... Ugh. Congrats, OP!
+ bonus points for 6MT and silver wheels. |

Agreed. I've always felt silver wheels go well with silver tip exhaust, nice synergy.
