Thoughts on C.Quartz on piano black trim

Hey all,

I have my '16 M3 arriving home in about a month following my ED. I opted for the piano black interior trim and it looked amazing as expected. I have been a little concerned about how it ages though. I have heard it can pick up micro scratches and swirls pretty easily.

Now the question. I plan to have the car treated with C.Quartz Finest when it gets home. Do you think it would work to have the shop apply this coating to the trim as well? The coating is supposed to be much harder than normal clear and resists scratches really well.

can you post pics of the piano black trim please.. and is it 2016lci?

It is a 2016 LCI. It looks very much like the photos you see on the BMW website. I like it as it gives it a more refined look. The only thing I would do different is go with a different color leather to make it pop more (I have black).

I was thinking about coating the interior carbon trim in my F80 with Cquartz or GTechniq. I'm more concerned with the center console trim vs. the dashboard, but coating both would be ideal.

I have silver stone leather with cf trim 2016 in looking for sell the cf and get the piano black trim oem I think with the white leather it would stand out
