Nexen N'Fera or Super Sports non-XL

Has anyone put these tires on their F82 yet? I wasn't able to find any posts about it. I had the Nexen 7000s on my E92, and put about 40k on the car front tires were still great, rears made it about 30k.

I'm looking for a more comfortable alternative to the PSS. My PSS have about 9k miles on them, and have 5/32nd of tread left, Michelin will give me a $130 credit towards new PSS but at $323/each, it's still $60 more per tire and I want something that will last much longer.

Has anyone put Super Sport non XLs on their car? Is it noticeably smoother of a ride or does it not make a huge difference? I don't really track the car or have any passenger's, but I'm hesitant to put non XL tires on this car.

I can't see why one would want to put such crappy tires on a car that already easily overpowers the stock rubber... but to each their own.

Generally speaking a softer tire will ride a bit better than a hard compound, but of course there's a treadwear tradeoff.

You can see I'm biased, but I don't know why anyone would skimp on the one thing that makes contact with the road, especially on a performance oriented car.

I'm not trying to skimp but I had a good experience with Nexen tires, they lasted 3x as long as any Michelin PS2 or RE040 tires I've had on any of my other cars.

However, the whole reason I'm wanting to get new tires when my current tires still have 5/32nds of tread is because the rear tires are slipping even when accelerating at high speeds due to the power, so in that case, I will stick with what grips the best.

I am curious if getting non-XL tires will improve the ride comfort of the vehicle much.
