US POE

As I understand it, BMWNA's US POE are Baltimore and Port Hueneme. I remember reading in the Houston newspaper a year ago that BMW was going to Add Houston as a POE for mid-country deliveries. Was there any truth to this?

Galveston has a VPC being built, but not ready/in use yet. But there are already many more POE's than just baltimroe and port hueneme. There is also Charleston, Brunswick, New York, New Jersey, and I think there is also one in oregon or washington west coast.

Isn't New York/New Jersey the same port?

Thanks--I presume that the POE is determined by which dealer sold the ED, and that a Houston, TX dealer ED sale a year from now will have a Galveston POE. Anyone know if an ED car can be picked up at the POE?

No it cannot. It has to be picked up from a dealership.

Miamiboyca I surmise that "PCD" means "Processing Center Delivery". How does one opt for that and does it eliminate the "delivery charge" on the Monroney label?

Performance Center Delivery. It's a BMW dealership but also the performance center. You can google BMW Performance Center Delivery to see more.

As for the delivery charge, you mean the $995 destination fee? No, you pay that no matter what.
