Install lower springs for front only

There is only one thread discussing this but couldn't find the right answer. Did any try to lower the front only and keep the back stock for e90M ?

The rear looks perfect IMO and I don't want to lower it more than that ; however, the front needs to be lowered.

Did anyone manage to do that? Any negative affect in handling? Assuming weight difference is neglected between stock and aftermarket springs, is there anything that I have to worry about?

No experience with that setup, but I would avoid mismatched spring just like I'd avoid mismatched tires.

If you like the rears as is, I would go with eibachs all around. It's a very conservative drop and gets rid of the front gap.
