My wife made me an awesome BMW cake for my 40th too. Themed surprise party. Very memorable. Congrats on the love you received.

Thanks, but this isn't my cake. I just figured one of you fanboys must have commissioned this masterpiece.

How did yours turnout?

Well OP, I hope that isn't for your kid, mine cried after seeing my masterpiece...

(I showed your cake to my son, he said it's good to see some parents love their children. I'm selling the kid)

Bad ass, and if it didn't, its still bad ass. It was for about 100 people and was incredibly memorable up to a point. I remember karaoke later in the night, which I never do, and then it goes blurry.

My son loves angry birds, always has. For his second birthday I went all out and truly tried to make a cake that would look like it was meant for humans.

I can cook anything, seriously. I can even bake really well but decorating is not something I can do. Our families have accepted this long ago and we eat in the dark if the baked goods served contains sugar.

Anyway, that morning I got up at five am and starts to make that. We call those bread cakes, it's a salty treat but I just decorated it like a sweet one. I couldn't even get the red right and that nose is a slice of paprika, eyes and eyebrows are olive chopping. I actually felt good about the cake until our guests arrived and spent the next two hours laughing at my creation. It didn't help that my son cried hopelessly asking if that was a joke.

To make my humiliation perfect, my husband who cant cook to save his life, had been up all night to make this:

I can honestly say after all the stupid shit I've done in my life that that was the most humiliating day of my life and I for one can't even make fun of that awful attempt seen in the op.
