I just installed mine this weekend. Buy it now if you have a JB4! This is the best mod I've made thus far.

Yes you plug it into the JB4 via usb, give it power and ground under the hood, and then use the app to connect to your JB4 via bluetooth.

SO, I have the aluminum enclosure. I am expecting my cable any day now.

Has anyone come up with a solution to using the bluetooth & enclosure?

I may try to have the machine shop go to town on the enclosure, and somehow make it weather proof again.

I have not seen the adapter in person, but I'm assuming there's no way it'll all fit.

Just remove the plastic cover from the rev 3 DB9 plug and it will fit perfectly in the aluminum enclosure.

Wait, so this Connect Kit will fit inside the JB4 aluminum enclosure? Or am I understanding this wrong? I was planning on just connected to the JB4 through my laptop and the included USB cable. Is on-the-go changing via the iPhone really that necessary?

the problem is it has said out of stock for almost 2 years now, he cant make them fast enough for demand. i paid $250.00 to get mine. its brand new so $225.00 shipped is more then reasonable. the kit prior was going for double what the new price was.
