Question Matte or Textured Carbon Trim

Hey guys/vendors,
Does anyone make carbon products similar to the OEM F30 M Performance trim?
I LOVED that dry/textured carbon look. No scratches or fingerprints!
Had this in my old F30 and haven't seen anything like it since.

I've thought about just having mine wrapped with matte vinyl or painted with a matte clear.

Thanks
Drew

If you like the non gloss carbon look then 3m CF wrap would be easy.

I'm not going to take real carbon fiber trim and wrap it with 3M vinyl.
3M vinyl is ok but that wouldn't make sense to me.

Makes me think of this...

Of course it doesn't make sense, but neither does pulling out the OEM trim and buying some aftermarket dry carbon trim that looks exactly like the 3m stuff. If that's the look you're going for, then wrapping your trim would be the least expensive way to do it and easy to go back to stock.

Now, would I do it? Hell no.... think the gloss CF trim looks pretty damn good and I don't like the look of the non-gloss CF.

Have you considered the F3x M-performance trim?

I have thought about it. Not sure if it would fit or not. Suppose that could be my next search.
I know a few F30 drivers and could try it.

Id definitely go with spraying them with a matte clear and calling it a day. You maintain the real carbon while getting the look you want

Yea that was my first thought, or wrapping it with matte clear vinyl like Xpel Stealth.
Now that I know that the F32 M Performance trim will work, I may do that.
I LOVED that trim in my F30.

Today on my way home, I found something else other than fingerprints that I don't like about the gloss carbon trim, it reflects the sun like a SOB!
I've had the car a week and the center is covered in fingerprints. (yes I'm a little OCD)

I get it! mine had prints all over it too, just the center piece.

I opticoated mine when I did the car even.

Matte clear vinyl isn't a bad idea at all
