BC Forged RS41 Black Chrome Installed
Hi Guys,
So here we go - got the shoes installed and look frikken' awesome if I say so myself Super happy with the look - and before you all rail on me , yes I might consider a 1/2 inch or slightly more drop at some point but seriously, the Houston roads are holding me back for now!!! Thought I'd drop a pic or two up front of some seriously interesting cars at Eurowerk's in Bellaire Houston - here ia a rare Jaguar XJ220 being serviced - pretty cool! No affiliation whatsoever, but this place is awesome and a full on race shop - - have been using them for years - heavy on Porsche and Merc but plenty of Ferrari and other exotics and yes lots of Bimmers to boot - Eric the owner is a very cool guy. Anyway here are the pics - note also my Black Chrome grille and side markers to match the Black Chrome on the wheels - too much fun!

Thx - as anal as I am and despite my previous train of thought, I am now reconsidering putting 305's on the rear.
If I make the call I will be selling two Potenza Pole Position S-04 295/30R19's for a very fair price (literally have 2 miles on them right now!); maybe $400 local or $350+shipping for the pair. Retail on sale at TireRack right now for $490+shipping (+tax if applicable). Need to think about it - bit if anyone seriously interested let me know! My logic is 305 and no drop or else go 255 front and drop but a lot more expensive and will drag on Houston streets! On the same topic, has anyone with 305's on stock ride height had any rubbing issues? Believe that some have said no issues but once to confirm.

Id definitely change out the rear or front tire asap.. your rear tire is noticeably thinner. If you're afraid of rubbing get 255 fronts and keep the 295 rears.. I'd drop that car ASAP! Last edited by JamesGames; 09-17-2015 at 07:27 PM.. |

Hence my original comment! - again considering reverting to 305's in rear which would add a critical filler maybe for now

Well on further thought I will go ahead and install 305's on rear to help fill out the rear wheel well but won't drop anytime soon due to Houston streets. Will keep the 295's and at a later date may go with a drop and get 255's to compliment the 295's. All good
I will keep the ad out there for now if anyone still interested in picking up the 295's. Should have the 305's pretty soon and will post updates when installed.

Holy shit an XJ220!? One of my all time favorite cars. Great way to start at thread haha. Your car looks awesome on those wheels!! Any plans on lowering it? That will really set it off.

Alright - About time someone saw how cool that was!!
Not something you see every day Yeah I know, I'll succumb to lowering at some point - might wait for the 305+265 combo to wear out and reapply 295+255 setup with a lowering of 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Biggest issue really is the Houston streets and the ever present ridiculously steep entry ramp to homes and businesses around town. Way it is when roads are floodways!

The concavity thing, indeed, at certain angles it does look less than it actually is - keeps you guessing! Thx again! I know right ! Almost tripped up when I saw the thing up on the BendPak
