Adding a new MOST device at the MOST distribution block

Has any one had any experience in adding a new MOST device to the MOST loop? I'm retrofitting the EPS/individual audio system to my car and i bought a simple sort of Y-extension cable that allows another device to be added to the loop but i didn't realise that i would need more length for the cable.

I figured i may as well try the OEM way and add another device to the MOST distribution block. Kind of looks like this:


Anyone done this before?
